Hi all,

I'm a newbie. My current setup is that I have 2 dish (both on single output LNB (KU Band)) and using a Diseqc (4 in 1 out) and connected to my DM800. FYI both dish is pointing to a different satellites.

I have another DM500 as a spare and wish to use it as my second receiver. What I want to achieve is that to have the 2 receivers operate independently without buying and installing another set of dish.

What would be the best way? Can I just use a LNB with dual output (one for each dish) and then connect using two separates Diseqc?

Appreciate anyone who could advise me.

two Dish

Using two pins LNB (Two output LNB) on each dish.
Require Std Switches with one out put. You will need two of them. one for each Receiver.

from LNB 1 and LNB 2 take one of the output to each sw.

from each SW you will run cables to your receiver seperatly.

you will have identical system now.

You may have to check if direction you will need, if they are next to each other. that means . The satellites next (Like Hotbird and Utelsat W3 or Nilestat or Arabsat or Sirus) to each other you can use one dish with one bracket or more for the second LNB and third LNB.

the bracket is use for the second or third LNB if your dish is not Motorize dish.
