Vplug with PowerVu Module

to serkanguzel and all members

follow these steps

the best version that stable with Win7 pro / OS 64 bit which is the best here after many tests that I did is this one mentioned by auxius

For those having problems with Altdvb Star Edition III detected as virus.

Try this Altdvb Star Edition II

Tested it and seems stable no freeze and lockups on SD and HD. Most importantly no virus being detected pretty clean files.

https://code.google.com/p/my-projec...tail?name=ALTDVB STAR EDITION-II.rar&can=2&q=

then follow these steps

I installed Altdvb Star Edition II :thum: in E drive

so all you can do is selecting any Drive you like C,D,E,F,G etc

and when following my procedure if the same Drive as me then OK if not CHANGE ONLY LETTER E WITH THE DRIVE LETTER YOU SELECT

after installing this version

delete all plugins and leave only vplug folder here
E:\ALT-DVB STAR\Plugins\Av0

delete this file FFDecsa.dll from here
E:\ALT-DVB STAR\Devices

now copy this file CSA.dll here
E:\ALT-DVB STAR\Devices

and copy this file PowerVU.ini here
E:\ALT-DVB STAR

and copy this file PowerVu.mdl here
E:\ALT-DVB STAR\Plugins\Av0\vPlug\vModules

now you have to edit this file PowerVU.ini so the vplug could connect to it by opening PowerVU.ini
and I should change the old line ==> DLL_DIR=D:\AltDvb\Devices\CSA.dll
to my new location here
DLL_DIR=E:\ALT-DVB STAR\Devices\CSA.dll

finally if I want to watch channels on 9E I do this
open this file PowerVU.ini from here
E:\ALT-DVB STAR
then I put number 1 here
DEFAULT_PROV=1

and do the same for all SAT channels by changing the number of the DEFAULT_PROV to the number of the channel package

as mentioned here
[POWERVU_PROVS]
PROV_1=AFN (9.0°E)
PROV_2=DISCOVERY-EUROPE (4.8°E)
PROV_3=DISCOVERY-NETWORKS (4.8°E)
PROV_4=TELEIPPICA-1 (16.0°E)
PROV_5=ARQIVA (4.8°E)
PROV_6=TELEIPPICA-2 (16.0°E)
PROV_7=SIS-LIVE (4.8°E)
PROV_8=FIGHT-NETWORK (15.0°W)
PROV_9=ARQIVA-HD (9.0°E)
PROV_10=FOX-NEWS (0.8°W)
PROV_12=OVERON (30.0°W)
PROV_13=CNN-EUR (22.0°W)
PROV_14=BWTV (13.0°E)
PROV_15=BCC-TV (9.0°E)
PROV_16=ABERTIS (30.0°W)

and save the file

=======================
=======================

adding filters

go to setting then click on + DirectShow then filter

then go left side and select Video Decoders and go right side and click on Add Filter and go down this box you will find LAV Video Decoder double click on it then click OK :thum:

for LAV Audio Decoder go left side and select Audio Decoders then follow steps as aboved right side Add filter then seclect LAV Audio Decoder and continue'til OK

EnJoY

Note:
*the files (PowerVu.mdl,PowerVU.ini and CSA.dll) are posted by n3ur0 here http://www.sat-universe.com/showpost.php?p=1234453&postcount=259

*LAV video Decoder and LAV Audio Decoder codecs you get the best picture on SD and HD channels :thum:

=======================

altDVB folder with vplug and powerVU files edited and uploaded

this version is ALTDVB StarEdition III
This is my Folder on C Drive/W7 (Using STAREDITION III)

*Disable Antivirus..

this version is ALTDVB STAR EDITION-II

uploaded by me from my computer

here is my whole pack of altDVB ready and working perfect

especially for those who use Win7 Pro / OS 64bit

this version is ALTDVB STAR EDITION-II

this was mentioned by auxius and after I tested it, it was the best version ever

the channels here working as FTA :D

anyway this version has only vplug plugin and updated powerVU files all setted also with many Sat scanned channels

I delete all other plugins and kept just vplug only to avoid any crash

here is the DL: 15mb
Code:
http://www.mediafire.com/download/kibysnb9wvkv0sy/ALT-DVB+STAR.zip
please only edit file PowerVU.ini by opening it and change letter E to your new drive location C,D,E,F,G,H etc

ie:
mine is saved as this
DLL_DIR=E:\ALT-DVB STAR\Devices\CSA.dll

so if you want this folder direct in C drive it should be like this
DLL_DIR=C:\ALT-DVB STAR\Devices\CSA.dll

finally
each package has a number

ie:
9E ===> AFN this has number 1

so in this line you should make it as this
DEFAULT_PROV=1

and if you need to watch package Discovery-Europe then change the number and save it again as this

4.8°E ===> Discovery-Europe this has number 2

so in this line you should make it as this
DEFAULT_PROV=2

and save it then EnJoY it

To avoid freezing and flashing on powerVU channels

finally I found the trick which makes the powerVU channels on altDVB flashes and freezes continuously

it's all because of vplug option :eek:

Packet Size must be setted to 184

do this and enjoy watching the powerVU channels without any freezing :thum:

see the picture for more understanding ;)

I have a week off coming up late August where I'll be retireing my old Windows 10 PC and replacing it with a newer PC running Windows 7. Does the above still work for AFN @ 9E? We should put all the files and config set up file folders in the DVB Files section with the latest PowerVU Emu - Seems to me similair for the T2-MI Multistream Channels where PC/DVB is required.

you need a valid EMM keys to update the active and the next key because the keys change every 3 hours and the best way to get the active and the next PowerVU keys is by saving the valid EMM keys in a softcam that connected with the PowerVuEmu.

and the latest update of PowerVuEmu

here
PowerVuEmu.3.0.0

and here some active EMM Keys
