My Box should arrive next week what else do i need??:D
I am new to all this so need a hand as to what else is needed.

I have big tele 50"
Sat Dish 60cm and is working on TV
Inverto Quad LNB
Four cables to my box
AV Amp

What can you tell me about
Emu's such as Goldbox and CCcam. :confused:

Got a computer and 17 year IT experience

What else is missing and what can a read before it arrive?

HDMI lead, cat 5 cable to connect to your router(unless your going to go wireless) a minimum 2gb usb stick is a must to run E2 on

500gb Sata internal Hard Drive if theres not one included (Theres a list somewhere of compatable HDD's that will work with your Cuberevo

Plus plenty of sleep, paracetemol, patience & do loads of reading:D

Im sure once your up & running you will be happy:thum:

ps: CCcam does not work on Cuberevo -you can use Incubus camd to connect to a Cccam server

I agree on the patience :p

I used to have a Relook (dgs) 400 with E1 :) (wel i still have it, but can't figure out what to do with it ..


It was a huge diffrence to the 9000hd :)
But its worth it :)

What part on the box needs patience flashing the software or setting up the box i.e sats??

I have an spare HDMI and have a cat 5 running to my router.
What is the 2GB memory stick for??
What is E2??
Do you know where I can find a list of compatable HDD's that will work with Cuberevo??

Dunno :)

Ipbox 9000HD plus twintuner '599 (euro's)

Dreambox with similar function, 999 euro's..

Also apparently the 9000HD give a better picture then the dreambox..


Both are overpriced but the 9000HD wins :p pricewise

Myself i would prefer a mediacenter with a dvbs card, maybe someone could port enigma to a Atom based machine to boot from iso :)
Include one standard DVB card, :)

I think the problem is "standard dvb card"...

But i have thought about the idea several times..

Ive got Hitachi HDP 72505 500gb SATA installed & works fine using either Enigma2 or DGS based images

Does anyone know where I can find a list of compatable HDD for the CubeRevo??
Or can I use any SATA drive I know there is a limit of 1.5GB.

There was a list posted somewhere either on here or denk tenks site

Mine works fine & i know loads of others have used it too without problems but its not shown in this list
