Using Oscam with SoftCam.key to decrypt BISS

Hi. I'm stuck in a dilemma with my Dreambox 800se. Under /usr/keys I've placed a SoftCam.key file with Biss Keys and PowerVu Keys. I've installed the Oscam emu patch files necessary for decrypting powervu. When I run Oscam alone, the powervu channels are decrypted but not the biss channels. If I run CCcam alone, the biss channels are decrypted but not the powervu channels, which means that the powervu and biss keys, are correct. What must I do in order for oscam to decrypt BISS + PowerVu channels, using the keys in /usr/keys/SoftCam.key? CCcam is able to use SoftCam.key for Biss but not oscam.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You say you have the softcam.key file in usr/keys. I'm using oscam r11219 in an Openpli 4.0 image and have the softcam.key file in the etc/tuxbox/Oscam/config folder and it opens biss.I don't have a constant.cw file in this folder.

ok i am also working 11086 in one of my receivers,without any problem in biss keys.
this in softcam server
Code:
[reader]
label                         = OSEmu-BISS
protocol                      = emu
device = etc/tuxbox/config/oscam/softcam.key [COLOR="Red"]you have to change it due to your directory[/COLOR]
user                          = [COLOR="Red"]your user[/COLOR]
password                      = [COLOR="Red"]your pass[/COLOR]
caid                          = 2600,FFFF
group                         = 2

and the key format (in the file that you ar giving directory for biss (example)
Code:
F 00641FFF 00 11xxxxxxxxxxxx33 ;Alpha TV (3.0E)
F 00641FFF 01 11xxxxxxxxxxxx33 ;Alpha TV (3.0E)

After trying the latest version of oscam emu the biss channels would still not decrypt. I reached the conclusion that it couldn't be an oscam bug in both versions of oscam, especially after members in this forum confirmed that they were using this version of oscam and that it indeed was able to decrypt biss channels. I then deleted all of the biss keys that came included in SoftCam.key and left only the one biss key for the channel that I wanted to decrypt. Finally, it worked. Oscam was able to decrypt it. It turns out that in SoftCam.Key, there were multiple channels using the same sid and pid (000B1FFF) as the channel that I wanted to decrypt. The keys from the channels with whose sid and ecm pid were the same, were overriding the keys from the channel I wanted to decrypt. Once I delete it, it works. Many thanks to you all for your valuable feedback and willingness to help.

Just for the sake of understanding, how come CCcam server was able to decrypt the biss channel even though SoftCam.Key contained biss keys from channels with the same ecm pid and sid as the one I wanted to decrypt? It seems CCcam is able to match the correct keys to the channel but not oscam. Oscam seems to get confused when there are multiple channels with the same sid and ecm pid.

the same happens to cccam and also to mgcamd. but sometimes,those cams,are reading the first one that they will find in the list...
in the past i solved this,but i can't remeber now if i did it in osemu,or in doscam ,because it uses more things from the channel (sid pid etc...) but it will not work powervu...

Oscam reads the softcam from the bottom of the softcam key file to the top where the other emus are vice-versa.So thats why cccam is opening the channel in biss and oscam wasnt.Cccam was using the first sid entry it came across from the top which was the correct biss key and oscam was finding a duplicate sid with different key from the bottom of the softcam key file.Hope this helps.

Hi "goofy115". That's exactly what I assumed. While CCcam reads the lines top to bottom, oscam reads it bottom to top. I had this issue drive me nuts for 9 days. :)

Many thanks for all the feedback.

Need help here. I have wetek play and running openpli beta 4 image. I used pbnigma and other images where I was using Oscam emu to decrypt biss channels by using softcam key file. When I installed Oscam on openpli through plugin menu, there was no such option for oscam emu so just installed oscam but it is not opening my biss key channels. I tried amending oscam.server file by inserting reader

[reader]
label = Emulator
protocol = keys
device = /etc/tuxbox/config/oscam/SoftCam.Key
#ident = 0D05:000004,000010;0500:030B00;0622:000000;0603:000000;0100:000030,000084,000085,00009B
group = 3
emmcache = 1,1,2,1

but it is not working. When I see oscam webinterface, emulator does not start

How to get to Oscam emu for openpli OR is there any way Only Oscam can open Biss key channels.

emulator always group = 1

[reader]
label = emulator
protocol = emu
device = emulator
caid = 090F,0500,0604,0E00,1010,2600,FFFF
detect = cd
ident = 090F:000000;0500:000000,030B00,023800,021110,007400,007800;0604:000000;0E00:000000;1010:000000;FFFF:000000;2600:000000;0100:000000
group = 1
emmcache = 2,1,2,1
emu_auproviders = 0604:010200;0E00:000000;0500:023800;0500:D00040;0500:030B00

All biss key work for SoftCam.Key --- works verified

SID 0007 -- VPID 008D -- 00 number -- key -- 111113311111133

F 0007008D 00 1111113311111133 ;RTRS (16.0°E)

RTRS biss key for SoftCam.Key --- works verified

Does that mean that if adding VPID to SoftCam.Key line, oscam (oscam-emu, respectively osemu) can open several biss channels with same SID ?
Does oscam use also constant.cw file ?
