Name: Novelsat NS-2000 Demodulator (NS3 Package)
The NovelSat NS2000 Demodulator redefines industry data rate limits, delivering up to 365Mbps using 70Msym/sec transmission. The NS2000 offers:

*Lowest bandwidth consumption – lowering satellite bandwidth usage by 30% to 60%
*Highest throughput – using existing bandwidth
*Highest data rate - raising maximum transmitted data rate to 365 Mbps
*Smallest dish/HPA size – using the same data rate
*Larger footprint – using the same data rates at remote locations

EBU using this technology (NS3) to transmitted and uplink feed to Asiasat 5 in 100,5E (4080 V 68750) and Eutelsat 10 A in 10E (11075 V 68750)

Yes, but for NHL feed also on 22W. 10E multiplexx NS3 feed content is NBA POOL EUROPE (3 live feeds), other basketball competition in US, NHL, IMG EUROPE, BPL, Tennis Grandslam (only courtfeed), MLB baseball, Serie A Italia and Ligue 1 France...

I think there isn't anybody crazy enough to spend this huge amount of money just to watch EBU feeds. It's directed for companys not to hobbyists like us.

its true indeed but then again this is a very dedicated professional box that is likely only used by broadcasters that obviously have plenty of cash to burn :D
i would like 2 or 3 of those boxes to test ..but im still waiting for that BIG lottery win first :nana: :D

cheers .

@Rimansi , i see you said that the ns2000 cost 1800pounds after your discussion with that company...how this came out? What they have said is that will cost 9525 + VAT , vat = 20% in UK so the total cost is 11430 pounds

Anyone tested in practice this professional box? It seems that other broadcasters (not only EBU) are switching to NS3 due to its efficiency, so probably there is not just one transponder at 10E but more trasmissions on other satellites, too. Any information about new frequencies is very appreciated. Also, Novelsat announced availability of NS4 late this year as a simple firmware upgrade for all its devices just deployed. So, it seems that feeds are going to this modulation more and more during next years.

you need a crystal ball as pro gear wont blind scan. With out someone on the inside leaking you the tuning details you would be sol.

how would you get the sr and fec details? a meter might pick up a spike in the frequency band but guessing the rest will be a pain.

I have used the NS3 box. It is just a demodulator unit and you have to use additional decoder to handle the TS (I don't remember if it only offers ASI output or also IP).

On 10E mux there are some NBA feeds (BISS), EBU back-up feeds and one Arabic channel (I don't know why it is on the mux, it is FTA).
