Zelezny re-enters TV fray
February 17, 2012 09:16 By Chris Dziadul
Vladimir Zelezny, the high-profile first director of Czech TV Nova who helped shape it into one of the most successful commercial stations in Central and Eastern Europe, is back in the TV business.
According to Digizone, he has become a minority shareholder in Digital Broadcasting, which acquired the country’s fourth DTT multiplex from Telefónica O2 last month.
He is now also now a shareholder in TP Pohoda, the company that holds the licence for TV Pohoda.
Both Digital Broadcasting and TP Pohoda are controlled by the media entrepreneur Radim Parizek, who plans to develop the fourth multiplex and launch TV Pohoda, a kids channel, on it.
