With situations like this its best to flash box with last official release from DGS whatever that was
Then once its ok install something like the last PGI image (DGS based not enigma 2) as its still supported by PGi team
In the long term as DGS/Cuberevo aren't supporting these boxes any longer, all support will come from 3rd party teams
These do it as hobby to help out the owners & to learn new stuff themselves
Sadly as with all technology these things soon become replaced with something bigger faster etc etc
Vu & Xtrend are examples of this & receive support from most of the major teams such as black hole, vix, aaf, pli
In terms of plug in & play boxes it cant think of ones that can access lots of free channels with'gift'
The last one was the spiderbox not sure if these are still available
Otherwise post a question in general sat sections for easy to use HD box with lots of support
Best to get a cheap subscription as there is nowt available now via cams
