What am I missing ?

Today my dreambox server (that I had with my provider) expired, so I tried to do some experiments that I've waited so long for. The dreambox had different username and password than defaults, so I waited until today to do a factory reset.

I connected my dreambox with DCC and installed Cccam_2.4.1, but then I couldn't find the CCcam.cfg file couse it wasn't at var/etc , so I downloaded it on the net and put it there.

Then later I founded the CCcam.cfg file (installed by CCcam_2.4.1) in var/bin (I don't know why the program put it there), so I have now the .cfg file in two places (var/bin and var/etc).

I googled for some clines and I testet them on cardsharing.info , some of them were green, so I took them and I testet one by one by putting them on CCcam.cfg file , but none of them is working.

I'm not sure what I did wrong. I didn't know first were to put the cline, but I found some information that I should delete everything written on CCcam.cfg and put the cline in the first line without the #. I tried even without deleting everything in CCcam.cfg by putting the cline in the last line without the #, but no luck.

I found 7-8 good clines (I mean, they were green so they should work right?) , but none of them works, so now I have only the free channels open.

Where did I make a mistake ? Is there something wrong with the CCcam.cfg file , I mean... should I clean everything in there to put the cline or not ? And I have them now in two directories, which one is better ? Should I delete one of them ? Should I rename or something ? Please help.. I'm new at this, and I'm trying to learn everything I can about my dreambox. I changed the default cam to CCcam_2.4.1 , but still no luck.

Can it be that clines don't work ? (They said "Full CCcam server" and they were putted today 18/3/2013, and I tested them in that site, I only tried the green ones)

Thanks for reading.

P.S. I have GEMINI Image

you should delete the cfg file from var/bin and in there should only be CCcam.Bin file and attributes should be set to 755,the CCcam.cfg goes in var/etc

ive not heard of CCcam 2.4.1 so maybe a a type error

paste your C: line into your config file, makes no odds where it goes just make sure that there is no # in front of it.

if the servers are green they are proberbly online and may be poor tests.

make sure you change the deafult password or you will be open for anyone to snoop into your box.

go here and download the E1 version http://www.sat-universe.com/showpost.php?p=543621&postcount=6 then FTP it to TMP folder as it is then on the remote look through the menu's for file manager and you will see manual install, press ok and you will see the CCCam_2.1.4 highlite and press ok.
thats it installed then go to your cams and activate it.

back up your own CCCam.cfg first if you have any special files inside it

I did just like you told me.. but this CCcam doesn't have CCcam.cfg inside it, so it isn't on var/etc .. is it OK if I just download it somewhere else and put it there ?

Thanks man very much for your patience and responses. I did everything like you said, so if Paid channels don't open, it must be Cline problem right ? Cause its really hard to find the right one. One last question, should I delete everything in this CCcam.cfg file to put the cline or just put it in the end of the file. Thanks again

no need to delete everything
just paste your C: lines into it and make sure there is no # in front of it,after that restart your cam
