Voyo changes in Czech Republic

The on demand service Voyo is now operating on a subscription-only basis in the Czech Republic and no longer carries advertising.
Local reports say that viewers are being offered Voyo.cz, which includes some 700 film titles, for CZK189 (€7.62) a month, but can also try it out free of charge for one week.
Voyo is operated by CME-backed TV Nova and made its debut in the Czech Republic at the beginning of last year.
It was subsequently rolled out to the five other CEE markets CME has a presence in.
CME entered into a partnership with Samsung this February that will see Voyo’s transactional and VOD services gain access to Samsung Smart TVs.
