Vodka and Mgcamd

Hello all
Another newbie problem.. I am afraid.
I just installed vodca v.0.0.2 for ipbox9000 on my Cuberevo twintuner HD.
I could scan the cable channels, but can not watch anything but FTA.
I FTP'd the Mgcamd 1.33 files, and made sure its config file is where it should be.
I still have no joy.. and when I press the blue button,I can not see mgcamd there, yet there is cccam??

Can anyone help please?

hi am very green but i have seeked the answer too, but if u want a client for a CC server? use incubus cam

I updated from NLB to Vodka 0.10 and noticed that the mgcamd files were there, but couldn't figure out how to "activate" it. In nlb changing between cams was very easy, but I probably miss something with this new one. Hints how to activate key-updating would be warml welcomed.

why dont you give the new BMT image a try, all cams already installed, and all work, and very user friendly to use.

its got to be worth 30 mins of your time to try it.

By the way what country you from ? if its UK, then i am afraid you wont be able to view Pay channels any more on cable. Its all changed to Nagra 3

Vodka : press the green button, start and restart mgcamd (you will get a OSD message). It should start automatically. important that you have newcamd.list configured correctly if you're not using the internal cardreaders. As DKaftermath said, if you're in UK, all cable channels have changed to Nagra 3 so it wouldn't work.
