IBC 2012 – PREVIEW: Stand 1.A51. Viaccess-Orca has now united under a single brand and the combined company will be focusing on the deployment on the TV Everywhere concept.
This includes Deep – data enrichment and enhancement platform – which provides smart aggregation of second-generation metadata. It picks up on what viewers are watching, pulling in news, images, trailers and games onto the second screen, before, after and while watching TV.
In addition the P2P Tracker provides Live Audience Measurement for operators to monitor and measure illegitimate peer-to-peer redistribution of live programmes.
VO enables content service providers to assess the threat, including geolocalization data of peers, samples of the measured streams and a list of available channels.
