UPC starts Slo'vak digital trial
Slo'vakia’s leading cable operator UPC is reported to have started a digital TV trial in the capital, Bratislava. It is offering viewers the two national public channels STV1 and STV2, along with the commercial services TV Markiza, Joj, TA3 and AZTV. UPC began digital TV trials in the neighbouring Czech Republic this spring, while Karneval, the operator acquired by Liberty Global at the beginning of this year, already offers services.
