UPC Polska ups the ante

UPC Polska has announced a major revamp of its offer to “yet again distance (itself) from the competition in terms of value and performance.”
Under it, the operator has introduced a new 250 Mbps internet product, with 60 Mbps becoming the standard and 10 Mbps the starting speed offered to subscribers.
It has also introduced three new digital packages – Start, Start HD and Start HD with PVR – to replace its Pakiet Minimalny analogue package, lowered phone tariffs, integrated its UPC Phone app into the fixed line service and introduced several new double and triple play packages.
Liberty Global-backed UPC Polska is the leading cable operator in Poland and had 1,449,500 subscribers at the end of the second quarter.
