The Latvian incumbent telco Lattelecom has announced that it now has 200,000 subscribers to its TV services.
The TeliaSonera-backed company added TV to its offer in 2007 and today operates IPTV, web TV and DTT platforms.
It played a key role in the country’s transition to digital broadcasting last year and is currently constructing a national fibre-optic network.
Earlier this month it also signed an agreement with the Chinese electronics manufacturer to build what will be Latvia’s first platform for multimedia services.
