TRACE Sports debuts in Israel

TRACE Sports has signed a carriage agreement with the Israeli cable operator HOT.
As a result, it will launch in the country as a localised channel with full Hebrew subtitles and feature items on local celebrities, produced and operated by Imagine Media Israel Ltd.
As part of the distribution deal, TRACE Sports will be offered to all HOT subscribers on their basic package, for no additional fee. TRACE Sports was launched 18 months ago and is already beamed into 20 million homes in 92 countries.
Commenting on its launch in Israel, Laurent Dumeau, CEO, TRACE Sports, said “After successful launches in Europe, Asia and Latin America, TRACE Sports continues its fast growing expansion in the Middle East. We are delighted to be expanding our footprint to Israel with a major deal with one of Israel’s major operators, HOT.
“To partner with Imagine Media is part of a natural evolution for TRACE Sports, as we partner with local agents; we will build an even stronger channel that resonates better with local audiences. This partnership has proven extremely successful and is something that we’ll be looking to replicate in the coming months.”
