Telstar 12 15w thoughts

Hi all,

So fairly new to all this satellite stuff and need to see if I'm doing something wrong or just wishful thinking on my process.

So I have a gtmedia v8 box and a small max view sick on dish. Managed to get 901 etc and can get astra etc fairly easily, but I can't seem to find the telstar satellite signal .

Any thoughts or advice would be great.

Do you think that when he inserts the keys, he will find the position of 15W in the sky?

Lol, stranger things have happened .

I thought I had it the other day but can't seem to get it. Is It a very small window for the 15w?

Should be pretty good signal you'll not really need FEC just leave it as AUTO
you can also try ESPN Feeds they are SD but have good signal
ESPN 1/2
15W
12609 H 7552

There is not much else Active on 15W Besides those 2 Freq's

The GT Tuner is maybe not the very best to try Lock this satellite
but best option is try lock 1W or 5W which are very very strong Signals and go west from there
but do'nt go crazy or you'll be beyond 30W before you know it ....Good luck !

@EnoSat if you have nothing whatsoever valid to add or to try help anyone other than your usual SPAM
then i suggest you do not comment any further sarcastic remarks !!

So had a little play managed to get 5w got some French TV, moved over to where 15w should be and I have manged to pickup some random signal but not on the correct frequency. Its on 12582 v 2220
