Sport1 secures ESPN rights package for Germany

Sport1 US, the German pay-TV channel for the fans of US sports, will continue to show college and motor sports from the United States.
Parent company Sport1 has renewed the rights package from ESPN Media Distribution covering NCAA College Football, NCAA College Basketball and the IndyCar Series until the 2017/18 season.
From NCAA College Basketball, Sport1 US will show at least 130 games and from NCAA College Football at least 70 matches – live or time-shifted with original US commentary.
From the IndyCar Series, the channel will transmit all races live or time-shifted with US commentary. The highlight will be the Indy 500 on the Motor Speedway in Indianapolis on May 29, 2016.
