Water ingress in sat cable most likely, or lnb on way out.

saying that im not sure if i put amalgamating tape around the f connector,i might have just pulled down the sleeve on lnb over the f connector.
i will have to get the ladder out,i wonder if its not got amalgamating tape on it now,can i still go ahead and put it on it as it is ?.

Fog can certainly reduce or kill signal we got lot of that here past few days ,
also on Sky Dishes they are cheap and of Zero quality
but could well be LNB on the way out i agree they are usually scrap 0.3db trash ,
i'd for sure try put new F Connectors and cut back ends of your cable in case of any water leakages
both at the dish and at receiver end if required .
Dish could well have very slightly moved and now is leaning back into a signal but with any wind might well be springing back out of signal
could put a sat meter on it see if signal is bouncing ?

If it has water ingress you will just be sealing it in. If you have enough cable, just cut the last few inches off and refit f conn.

no meter here im afraid barney, but watching the whole 2nd half of match on tnt and signal fine no pixelation or signal loss at all.
