let me know, if anyone knows, if I could get satellites 7e and 10e comfortably and what other satellites I could as well. What size dish will I need to receive a good signal for all available satellites that the Netherlands can receive? Also would it be preferable to stay in the south, north, east or west of the Netherlands?

I assume you are referring to Ku-Band frequencies?

As a starting point I would say a 1.2m dish is the minimum size, if you can go to 1.8m it is better.
If you go less tham 1.2m you will be missing some signals for the feeds that are on these satellites. However, 1.2m is not a guarantee you will get all of them.

Check out the beam footprint maps for the satellites on the various websites, there is not much difference wherever you are in the Netherlands.

I totally agree. No less than 1.2m but if you want a good margin in feed reception go for 1.8m.
Other than 7E and 10E, you can receive all other european satellite including Astra at 23.5E, home of all netherlands broadcaster.
Also, with 1.8m you possibly will get the english satellite at 28E, and many position at West (1W, 4W, 5W... and more).

With my 2 meter Prime Focus Dish i get
45E,42E,39E,28E,26E,23.5E,21.6E,19E,16E,13E,10E [ ALL Feeds ] , 9E , 7E [ ALL Feeds ] , 5E , 3E [ ALL Feeds ] , 1.9E
0.8W,3W,5W,8W,11W,15W,22W,27W,30W

25 Satellites which you should expect with 1..8M offset dish ,
as said 1.2M will still get vast majority of those Satellites but 10,7E Feeds do require a bigger sized dish as Feed signals can and will be very weak .

Thanks a lot all of us! the answers were informative and explanatory. I understand that the Netherlands is a country that receives signals from many satellites. With two 1.8m mobile dishes and 2 smaller mobile dishes I will be able to have all the feeds that I need
