Romtelecom launches TV Everywhere

Romtelecom and Cosmote Romania have launched a TV Everywhere product.
Known as Dolce Mobile TV, it is accessible via an app than can be downloaded by the two companies’ customers – including those of Romtelecom’s cable subsidiary NextGen – onto smartphones and tablets and will be offered free of charge until August 26.
The move comes a year after the launch of dolcetv.ro, the online TV portal provided by Romtelecom.
Customers using the 3G service from Cosmote who are on a 3G coverage area when outside or a Romtelecom connection when inside will be able to receive 35 live TV channels, along with free sports events – both live and catch-up – at any time.
Furthermore, those who have a fixed broadband connection from Romtelecom will also be able to receive movies on an on demand basis if they have a valid www.dolcetv.ro account.
