A street cleaner from Essex has struck gold after discovering a 18-carat gold Rolex worth £21K down a drain… and that was just the start.
Arron Large found the Rolex Oyster Perpetual Cosmograph in a drain near Chalkwell railway station in Southend, last week.
Police told him that because the watch was not registered as stolen or lost, it would become his if not claimed within 30 days, and he couldn't believe his luck.
That was until yesterday, when the 28-year-old drain technician said he has found three more watches near to where he found the first… now he really can't believe his luck.
Arron says he thinks another of his latest finds is also a Rolex.
