Remote Control Problem

Hello. I have had a dreambox for a month. But today when I started my dreambox I noticed that someone at home was playing with him and went to some directory at /var/.... As a result of that my buttons for Volume + Volume - Mute TV Exit Help don't work properly - I mean the button Exit do what Help did before / the others buttons are OK/ I don't care about Mute Tv Exit etc. but I do care for Volume + and Volume - . Is there a file or something that can be broken :S, pls help.
It will be much appreciated. 10x in advance :mecry:

edit: I have dreambox 500s

Just go to the DB Main Menu/Setut/Expert Setup/Remote Control and see By Remotecontrol style,if Defult(enigma) or classic(neutrino)You have.Im not sure but check it.

i just did it again- that was a solution that told me earlier my friend but no one seems to work with volume up and down and the rest buttons ;( ... i also restart my dreambox but nothing happens. i don't know if the file hasn't been modified ;(
any other suggestions ?

edit: the green light of the dreambox flashes when i press the buttons that doesn't work - volume up volume down but nothing happens ;(... i really don't know why it is so ;(

So you say it that you have both of them tested(you should have enigma) and no positive results.Then Make one factory reset or flash box againe.Sorry

Yes,but you can install them againe.You have here (SU)all that you need for your box.But you decide

is there a way just to put the file that is risponsible for the remote control just to delete it and put a new one ? Or we don't know the name of the file ?

I use dreambox 500s - is this the file for me that u've mentioned ? rcdm7000.xml ? & where it is supposed to be in my dreambox? :S

im not sure but see here on your Dreambox in the following location: /var/tuxbox/config/enigma/resources.

i just got it and u write you post - 10x it is called here 'rcdm5xxx.xml' - could u gave me the correct when to try with :?

i try the above link that i gave , modified my file / of course made a back up of it

in this directory an .xml file is created, delete it and this should fix the problem with remote button mismach
/var/tuxbox/config/enigma/resources
