Streaming video pioneer RealNetworks has launched the RealTimes Stories software development kit (SDK).
The platform enables mobile carriers and application developers to embed RealTimes' core functionality, RealTimes Stories, into their native mobile applications.
As part of this announcement, RealNetworks has partnered with Synchronoss Technologies for global distribution of RealTimes with the integration of RealNetworks' RealTimes Stories SDK into Synchronoss' Personal Cloud product.
Available as a mobile developer SDK for iOS and Android, the RealTimes Stories SDK provides developers with the application program interface (API) that allows them to use RealTimes Stories to tap into their own cloud and/or photo universe to create video montages.
