RCS&RDS wins ad decision

Romania’s RCS&RDS is now allowed to carry commercials on all its channels.
Mediafax reports that this follows the decision of the National Audiovisual Council (CNA) to approve advertising on the news-based Digi 24, along with the film channel Digi Film and documentary Digi Life, Digi World and Digi Animal World.
In each case, RCS&RDS will allocate 20% of airtime on the channels to advertising.
RCS&RDS, which is the leading cable and DTH operator in Romania, is currently licensed to broadcast 13 proprietary channels.
