Probably the wrong power supply for bulking capacitor. Need to replace the capacitor from power supply.
I have the same error some time ago. Screw the lid off and see which is bulging. There are different supply voltages and a lack of some. I do not remember by memory. If you want I can watch at home.

Super, I thought it was so dead, that it was not worth trying to save it

Super if you can help me, locate the capacitor that needs to be replaced

Did you replace the capacitor with a better/different one, so it won't burn of again ?

hi zeros

All 3 capacitor on the power supply was broken
2 x 2200uf 10v
1 x 1000uf 10v

Did you replace your capacitor with a better/different one, so it won't burn of again ?

Best regards

Replace with the exact same uf value! You can increase the voltage slightly to ensure a longer life span of the capacitors!

And polarity- keep it that as they are electrolyte capacitators, follow the polarity when you swap them! If you get higher voltage corresponding values then perhaps better.

Thats what i said mate if you read my post correctly!
"Replace with the exact same uf value! You can increase the voltage slightly to ensure a longer life span of the capacitors!"
Use same uf and a slightly higher voltage will be the best option! The capacitors will last longer! Will also allow for any surges in the voltage!

Hi

All 3 capacitors on the power supply was broken
2 x 2200uf 10v (105°C)
1 x 1000uf 10v (105°C)

All 3 capacitors on the power supply is replaced
2 x 2200uf 16v (105°C)
1 x 1000uf 16v (105°C)

and the qboxhd is running OK again

Thanks for your help zeros and EsRgood4u

Best regards
