Problem with OpenPLi on DM8000

I installed OpenPLi 4.0 Beta on my DM8000 and I have a problem with playback on recorded programs. Some of them will not play correctly and stop in the middle of the recorded show. If I try to play it again and FF past the point where it stopped before, it will play OK. Also I cannot get to play movies in the web interface, it will not pull up the list of recordings

Ive no issues on me 800SE or VU Duo2 maybe this is specific to the 8000 or could it be hard drive related ?

I can copy the files to my computer and there they play without any problem

Have a go with a earlier or later build of openpli then to see if it helps.

Already checked your harddrive in Menu/Settings/Storage devices?

See if it works stable without zram ...]

Via telnet

opkg remove zram


Types ... Box full reboot and then see if it gets better ..

zram is possible to put up back later with

opkg install zram

i had a similar issues mine also kept freezing i re-flashed it ok for few day then back to square one.

I purchased a different HDD on Ebay and as soon as I get it I will try it out to make sure it is not related to a hardware issue with that particular drive.
