Polish telco gains TV subs

The Polish alternative telco Dialog ended H1 with 40,900 subscribers to its IPTV service.
Revenues derived from the service grew by PLN3.4 million (€812,320) over the period.
Dialog’s revenues from sales amounted to PLN256,673,000 in the first half of the year, down from PLN260,624,000 in the same period last year. EBITDA amounted to PLN69,694,000 (PLN64,770,000) and net profit PLN20,147,000 (PLN21,800,000).
According to the telco, its future plans include the introduction of on-screen internet, games and shopping services for its digital TV subscribers in the next few months.
Dialog reached 110,000 homes with FTTx technology as of this June and expects the figure to rise to 150,000 by the end of the year.
