OpenPli USB Flash Drive

I am running OpenPli4.

I appear to be able mount the USB flash drive. It is a 32 GB flash card. It shows it as media/hdd. I can even file browse to it. I have changed the recording paths to that mount location, but I cannot get the timeshift or recording to work at all..

What am i doing wrong??? What am I missing? When i hit the record or pause button a 'Hand' pops up on the screen.

You have to have the movie folder.

Okay, I'm frustrated. It's still not working. When i initialize the USB, i do it as 1 partition, and i format it FAT32. Ext2 isn't available, and when i use Ext3, it tells me that extension isn't available. I do a fixed Mount to /media/hdd and as Ferret suggestion, i changed the recording paths to /media/hdd/movie

And if you ftp in do you actually have a movie folder ?

I get the following message when i hold down the record button : Missing /media/hdd/movie/ No HDD found or HDD not initialized.

But, i can FTP to it, and it is there?!!?!?

Okay, i have pulled out the flash stick. I installed a 250GB sata drive. We will try this again with this.

I'm about to give up on OpenPli unless someone comes up with something.. I had this working on other images.
