NOS to launch smart TV sports app

Dutch pubic broadcaster NOS will launch a special app for connected smart TVs unlocking this summer’s main sports events.
The news was announced by Samsung rather than the broadcaster itself, but a spokesperson for NOS confirmed that the Summer Sports app would become available for most brands of connected TVs.
The app will give easy access to this summer’s main sports events, including the European Football Championships, the Summer Olympics, the Paralympics and the Tour de France.
The app will offer live streams, on-demand videos, statistics and live results.
