No DTS working on DM800hd se v2 clone

Just got a dm800hd se v2 clone. I can't get the dts to work. Is there a setting you have to change and does it work only through through the optical output ? It has the Newnigma image installed. Tried playing with the downmix setting and the one that controls the hdmi output but no joy. Does the dts on the movie I'm trying to play have to be in a specific format ? Any help gratefully accepted.

Did a bit of research on this and it appears that it's a license issue. I read that Dreambox don't have a DTS license and so don't support it. It was supported in the earlier images but not in the later ones. I don't know if that's a load of crap, but it's all I could find out.

Of course, if you know anything different.........

searched about and can't find any answers that work so I've decided to re-encode all the dts audio films I've got to ac3, using a program called popcorn. Seems a shame no dts, but there you go.
