no channels clearing 800se

any body help ive got a 800hd se and Im trying to set it up on my previous motorized set up which works fine and satellite quality good
When I plug the 800 in it doesnt seem to find any channels after a scan and also has trouble locking onto any satellites

How do you have the tuner setup ? it should be

Simple
Positioner

Then just enter you coordinates.

yes had the tuner set to usals ,input long 001.34w and lat 54.5n for durham uk its got openpli on it
Because it didn't work properly I used my spiderbox to locate the sats which were already set up as I've been motorizes for years, then scaned using the dream set to one sat and it scanned ok ,so seems to be the set up in usals
