Hi,

I got myself a new 5402HD M3, mostly becuase I wanted BBC package at 27.5W and the ease of entering biss keys.

Getting 27.5W to work was quite stright forward thanks to a few guides I found here at sat-universe. I noticed that the BISS section had 100 slots and they were all occupied - is there any chance one can find out which keys (channels) are stored so I know which ones I can remove if I want to enter a new one, for instance a new feed?

Also tested Phantom's test patch that opens Power VU - tested AFN at 9E and it worked :D

The main issue I have tho is the Picture quality. The HD is not as good as I want it. Where in the menues can I set which resolution the HDMI should output? Receiver has old scart and for that I can switch between CVBS and RGB but I would like option for the HDMI to output 1080p/1080i/720p. RGB has 576i and that cannot be changed. When I Watch HDTV channels, such as ZDF the Picture looks like upscaled and definitely not as good as my DM800HDse.

Thanks for any input!

Remote control has a vformat button at bottom adjust picture with that.
As for biss keys, you will need to check the biss keys section to see what is valid and if you can even reeive a signal for those channels.

Go to menu System settings AV output settings, then go down to video format change to 1080

For biss keys just overwrite any of the 100 slots if they don't change that often use the bottom 10 slots that's what I do

Actually I tried that button but nothing seems to happen when I press it. I'll try again after work today, maybe didn't Point it Close enough the receiver.

The remote interfers with my Led light I installed behind tv which is also remote controlled.. I try to avoide it by using the IR Cable extender.

I don't Think I have such option on my receiver.. says 576i and when I scroll down it skips the 576i. I'll take Another look when I come home and maybe take Picture of the screen. Tried test patch and normal patch, no difference.

Yes, that is what I wanted to see but I have only 576i in yellow and the cursor skips the video selection, can't change. At least I know I was looking in right Place, thanks :). I'll try later again.
