new bh image hdd not reconized

Does any one else have to keep initinalizeing hdd
After shut down with this image
Tried bh online update but still does it

No mate no problems here.

What your experiencing could be a sign of a hard drive on its way out.

Try it with another image though before you condemn the HDD.

I've got the same problem I cannot record anything.

It keeps saying that I do not have an HDD .

Have you tried setting a mount point for it ?

ive tried another hdd but same result
if box is put into standby hdd pause tv /rec works if I shutdown and restart hdd still there for playing back but cannot pause live tv or record unless I initionalize hdd

I,m using latest bh 2.02 on a vu duo and i have no problems either,as ferret says mount the drive in devices manager..also if you used a different image ie vix and then changed to bh then you will need to format the drive i would have thought.

Also do a software update via your remote

Does it loose it recording paths when HDD is still there but TV wont pause ?

I´ve had the same problem, and It was a mount problem. take a look or prove with other hdd.

Size 250
Mount :not mapped
After initionalization this disappears
Under device manager filelist for hdd says
Lost+found
Movie
Does initionalize hdd
mount the hdd
