nc+ cuts subscription fees

The Polish DTH platform nc+ has reduced the cost of its most expensive package Canal+ Platinum by PL20 (€4.62) to PLN99 a month.
Alongside this, subscribers to the package are being offered HBO HD for free for two months, after which they will have to pay a reduced fee of PLN0 a month.
Although the cost of other nc+ packages remains unchanged, the platform is offering those who receive the Comfort+ and Universe+ packages a Mediabox receiver for an activation fee of PLN49, with a rental cost of PLN5 a month.
Hitherto these have been PLN199 and PLN10 respectively.
The changes have been made to attract new subscribers ahead of the start of the Polish premier football (T-Mobile Ekstraklasa) season next week.
The platform nc+ was formed by the merger of n and Cyfra+ and made its debut on March 31 this year.
