Right remove any usb drives that you may have inserted and power off and on.

Still the same after this then you have to try reflashing.

Red Light

Hi mate

If you have a red light in the display and the receiver does not respond to any usb port or connection via null cable to pc then your need to have it checked out by a engineer.
There are alot of people reporting this problem and one way to resolve is replacing the C807 220uF 16v cap with an upgrade 330uF 16v cap instead.
Many have reported this boots the receiver back into life and works as long as your not been messing about with flashing the box at the time as this might be another problem.
If you handy with a soldering iron its a job you can do yourself or take it to a tv repair shop and have a professional take a look.

i had this isue also
i sorted it with a cheap 330uF 16v cap RSU type! it workded for around 3 weeks then the same thing happend again!
i was then toled by a friend to watch out for the Tolerance on some Capacitor
i put a better
16V 470uF +20% Tolerance
been working great since!!!!!!

so if you have problems with yours this may help!!!
check your Tolerance

My box died last night, red dot in corner of display. I went to maplins and bought a new capacitor.

Quite a simple job, I did cheat slightly as I cut the old cap off leaving the old legs stand proud of the pcb. I just soldered the new cap to the legs of the old cap.

Fired up straight away, and running like dream again

Be carefull doing this as it can cause problems its best to remove old capacitor.
leaveing legs of old one can cause more resistance and other problems
