More Multiroom for Poland

Demand for Multiroom services is set to grow in Poland.
According to a survey undertaken by TGI MillwardBrown, more than five million homes in the country have at least two TV sets and 1.2 million three or more. Furthermore, 38% (5.3 million) of all households have at least two TV sets and flat LCD TVs account for 33% of all TV sets now used in Poland.
As previously reported in Broadband TV News, there are also predicted to be one million connected TVs in Poland by the end of this year.
Multiroom services are offered by a number of pay-TV platforms in the country including UPC Polska (cable) and Cyfra+ and n (DTH).
