mgcamd 1.35 dm500s

hello to all ...want to install latest mgcamd 1.35 i do tar.gz file in /tmp then reboot dm but the mgcamd dosent show on the screen!!
why? must be doing something wrong please help....
i searched all dreambox files by ftp.... and cant find mgcamd...the var space has gone from 40% to 60!...and cant see mgcamd installed!!
please help!!

You install what you put in /tmp or just put on this folder ?
This must manual instal on addons panel

yes installed it and after it said installed successfully!!
and after that no file in folder /tmp...

The file in the temp folder is removed after the install.

All you have to do no is start mgcamd. Usually done by pressing the blue button once then using the <> arrows on the remote to select mgcamd then green button to start or save the cam.

It is a EMU or cam emulator, it can emulate a hardware cam to read cards and also use keys to decrypt some encrypted channels.

hello,
i've put the file for mgcamd on tmp folder but when i press ok on remote nothing happens, im trying to install this manually because i cant find any cam on gemini server via blue pannel (doesnt load anything on cam category). Thank you in advance for any help.

I am quite new in using Dreambox. I've got SR232, and I have an internet connection. I have also another cable which I used to connect my Dreambox to my PC.

U Can install Useraddon.xml for gemini image or Extra.url for EDG Nemesis image which will allow you to d/load CCcam to your Clone Dm500s box .

U fail to tell us what image you flashed on your box ??
if u have not yet flashed image then i suggest you start using the Search button and do some reading of tutorials and sticky threads on howto and exactly which images to flash on your Clone dm500s box .
i would strongly suggest to you to open a new thread as your questions are not on topic of this thread whatsoever so best to start a new thread in this dreambox chat section so as not to hijack this thread with off-topic questions .
