Mediapro sell Overon studies to Al Jazeera

Mediapro Overon wants to cash in, audiovisual services company also participates in Abertis. Earlier plans to buy a 51% partner, to sell the entire production to the Qatari Al Jazeera, one of the reference customers producer Jaume Roures.
So, Mediapro receive a boost after losing 55 million euros last year to build 85 million in the red since 2008.
I would at the cost of discarding a profitable division. Overon closed 2011 with a profit of 10.164 million euros, 10% less than the previous year. According to the latest accounts filed at the Companies Registry, cut its revenue by 5%, to 74.9 million euros bill.
The bulk of its turnover comes from the domestic market, of which 43.8 million euros joined last year.
The template Overon were involved, at the end of 2011, a total of 245 workers, mostly technical.
Already last year, Mediapro and Abertis Overon tried to place private equity firms, but ultimately the operation did not materialize.
