KPN is introducing Restart TV on its Interactieve TV platform.
The service, which will allow viewers to restart a programme from the beginning, will gradually be rolled out from October 28 across the network. The introduction involves a software upgrade.
KPN customers already have access to pause live TV and PVR recording in the cloud as well as TV Everywhere for a number of channels.
The service is free to use on the three national public channels, Nederland 1, 2 and 3, and comes as a subscription service for the private channels RTL 4, 5, 7, 8, SBS, Veronica and Net5.
