KidsCo expands in French-speaking Caribbean

Children’s channel KidsCo is launching in parts of the Caribbean and in French Guiana.
The channel, which airs shows including Jass Time!, Boo & Me, Sonic Underground, Danger Mouse and Super Mario Brothers, has signed a carriage deal with pay TV operator Mediaserv. It will be dubbed into French.
Paul Robinson, global CEO at KidsCo, said: “Moving into our fifth year, we are delighted to be extending our services across more French speaking territories. KidsCo is a truly international channel, and providing territories with local languages is an important aspect of our offering. We are delighted to be partnering with Mediaserv as it understands and supports our commitment to providing children with universal content on a local level as well as the importance and value of educational and trusted programming.”
