Hi all, just posting my intro here...
Saw a few posts in here that could possibly help me, but i'm in a bit of a predicament:
I bought my grandparents a new wireless router. I have yet to set it up for them but I am leaving on Saturday to visit them for the summer. I am good with computers, but they have a dreambox, it is an older model, I know it is not "HD", and I need to figure out how to get it to connect to the new router.
The router they currently have is an aging TP-link 802.11g router from ages ago that desperately needs replacing, so I bought them a Netgear R7000 Nighthawk 802.11a/b/g/n/ac router. They have a larger house so they needed it more for the range. Anyways, they have their dreambox set up through a "guy" who they pay about 10 euro a month to provide the dreambox "service". He has set something up in the current router to allow the dreambox to work. i do not know what this is yet, and was hoping you guys could help figure it out.
