Hey guys e-star sim question

i have a e-star sim and i was wondering if i can upgrade or something like this to make it another sim card is this posible?
im having trouble with this sim. if its imposible who suggest me a great page that have everything for e-star? (i have dm800 hd pvr) thanks

I don't think you can do anything with the sim, I have just been to the estar site and its down so I dont know if its still running or not,i know there was a image convertor for the DM800se which enabled you to convert original images to estar images but not sure of there was one for the 800.

I am not sure if you could put a sim 2.01 inside it, maybe someone else can confirm this for you.

the image converter doesn't work it says not sure to match version and then an error,how to fix this?

I don't have an estar sim now maybe you are trying to convert an 0E2 image and its should be the early images or you are using the convertor for the estar DM800se I am sure there is a estar V2 sim aswell for the 800se, so you will need the correct convertor for that sim and maybe try an early image and not the later ones

i have a dm 800 hd pvr isn't clone right? what coverter i can use for this? the estar is v3.0

if you have a DM800HD PVR with an estar sim in it,its a clone.

if its a version 3 sim you need the later convertor or flash it with a later version 3 image I have seen some for a DM800se but not the 800, your best to keep check on the estar site and see if it comes back online.

I would not recommend anyone to purchase an 800 or 800Se with an estar sim inside it,if your getting a clone get one with the A8P sim in it, or a sim 2.

yea i would reccomend ti too,it really pissed me off this shit e-star,i searched all over the network just to find the dreamup for estar and then later a newnigma2. the other one its a pvr but the sim card is attached and cannot be removed.It still is a great sim 'cause it tooks every image you want to flash i have tried newnigma 2 4.0.10 and it works perfectly,for me is the best image what do you think?

if newnigma works fine I would just leave it running that image, because once they go wrong they go wrong, you should have purchased one with an A8P sim these sims you can flash any original image to them.

yes it's a great sim.the problem with images in general is that if you put too many plugins and the memory is full,the image crashes with a green screen does this have a fix or it needs to reflash?
im thinking to buy a HDD for my dreambox so i can transfer and install all the plugins there so my dreambox will be clear and keep booting without problem.what do you think?

you have hit the nail on the head, all the new images take up most of the memory soon as you start to put the plugins you require then this problem will happen I am not sure if you can use flash expander.

I have expirience with estar.
1. you can use only O.E 1.6 images (I recommend open pli 2.1 best for IPTV but needs nstream player installed to play IPTV from settings list)
2. If you want O.E 2.0 images you can change the sim with 2.01 (personaly tested 100% working)
