Help needed, disk and usb trouble changed places

My disk thinks it's an usb and my usb pen will not be an usb after installing BlackHole Vu+ Duo v. 2.0.2 Full Motor IPTV Streaming Special BackUP By Ferret.. How can i revert it to normal ?
i have been in device manager and the disk is usb based and meoboot.. usb is there too but whatever i choose for my usb it gets : Not Mapped.

Any nice commands ? Mount and umount..

Searched this forum and finally found something.. can anyone confirm that these commands will work without formatting my HDD, usb pen can be formatted but not my disk as i some movies there i dont want to loose?

I modified some of these lines..

umount /dev/sda1
umount /dev/sdb1

mkfs.ext4 /dev/sdb1

mount /dev/sda1 /media/hdd
mount /dev/sdb1 /media/usb

Hmm.. it works.. but after rebooting the box it is back with wrong settings again.. any solution ?

hi everyone !

i installed one of BU-ed images uploaded in this forums on my VU+ DUO .

my problem is > i cannot record anything ( ! )

it keeps saying that i do not have an HDD .

.. but i can play movies / previous records through MediaPlayer ..

also i can access the HDD through Filezilla .

How can i mount it ??

mkfs.ext4 /dev/sdb1
Could cause data loss with some partitions!
depends on what format it is now
if your drive is fat/fat32/ntfs at this time ALL DATA WILL BE LOST!
if your drive is ext3 then everything should be ok

It worked until i tried to install another image into Meoboot.. now my hdd thinks it an usb and my usb gets : not mapped.. Arghhhh And no secondary image..
So now i'm back again.. i guess i'll give up Bh and meoboot for this time..

i can access my files ( i'm backing up my records with filezilla ) but noticed that the contents are inside this path :

/autofs/sda1/hdd

can someone help me how to point my VU+ record process into this folder .?

i tried several times with 'MountPoint' and restart .. but nothing .

as ai said previously , i have no problem reading / playing from the hdd . it is just recording / timeshifting i am not succeeding ..

any help is appreciated .

Make sure you have the folders

/movie
/timeshift
/radio

on the root of your hdd

also your hdd must be mounted as /hdd or /media/hdd

it was that simple as just creating those three dirs in my "/media/hdd/" path ( ! )

as soon as i created those , i was able to rec immediately ( no further 'mount' or 'whateva' .. )

ha-ha-a =) i have lost a couple of shows to record from the latest week , but well ..
