Hi, I'm a long time FTA satellite person, but new registered here. I'm located in the USA, in Michigan, and my name is Mike. I haven't had any chance as of yet to look around, but I will do it asap.
I'm mainly at the moment trying to find a English user manual for an Amiko Mini HD265 receiver, as the English one that came with it has such washed out and tiny print, I can't easily read it. Hoping I can find one online that's much better. I don't know if any of the updated firmware's for this receiver on this site, will work properly in the USA, and I'm not yet familiar what the "emu" and "mcas" titles on the various firmware's mean. The US doesn't have any sort of legal subscription service available to regular end users for FTA sat receivers such as this one, so if those firmware's are related to that sort of thing, guess I'm out of luck.
I'm mainly interested if the DVR functions have some sort of progress place-marking available or not? For instance, if I'm watching a 2 hour recording, and have to quit 1/2 hour in, is there a way to TAG that spot, and next time I watch to jump right to it with a different button push? I really like that feature on the older SatelliteAv "MicroHD" receiver from 2012
Otherwise, I can just continue to use it as-is for now.
