HD landmark for Tricolor TV

Russia’s leading DTH platform Tricolor TV now has 500,000 subscribers to its HD offer, launched only four months ago.
Its introduction has, according to the company, helped increase the total take-up of HD services in the country by 3.5 times.
Tricolor TV earlier predicted that it expects to have one million subscribers receiving its HD offer by the beginning of 2013.
It has also contributed to significant growth in its overall pay-TV subscriber total, which grew by 750,000 to 8.55 million in the third quarter.
