Have i bricked my 5402 M1?....

I loaded phantom patch 143 posted by manic01 on 07/07/2015,all seemed to go well until box rebooted and now it wont respond to remote control and 0 is showing in display box,any help appreciated,thanks.

probably was wrong patch or something like that ,
Do'nt worry ive had that happen to myself quite a few times aswell ..
There is an Easy fix however you'll be glad to hear ..

switch the box off at the back top Left ON/OFF button
Next hold your finger on the CHANNEL UP Button on the front of the box itself next to the round LED Display
keep holding the CHANNEL UP Button untill it brings you to the Installer Menu on the TV Screen
now navigate down to Factory Reset and push ok your remote will respond once your in installer menu
you will have to select YES at this point and wait for box to boot up again
once thats done then be carefull not to load the same incorrect dodgy patch again

Ive tried that buddy but when box comes on it just moves through the channels and then freezes and doesnt show installer menu or anything,ive got the number `1` on display screen now!!!

Switch the TM HD OFF using the power switch on the rear of the receiver... insert the USB Flash Drive into the receiver as normal with a patch for your receiver,

Switch off NEWCAMD & disconnect the Ethernet
Then press and hold down the POWER BUTTON on the front of the receiver as you switch the TM HD back ON using the power switch on the rear of the receiver...

Continue to press and hold down the POWER BUTTON until you see the BOOT LOADER MENU on the TV screen... then release the POWER BUTTON...

You will see two options for loading firmware/files... however the BOOT LOADER program usually scans the USB Flash Drive and downloads the latest/most recent firmware automatically...

Make sure you have only the correct TM firmware on USB stick before you start.

Thanks @ William-1 i made an Error in my above post it was POWER Button NOT the Channel UP Button i meant .

@ lennono ..i very much recommend to try first this patch

BE carefull there is two different patches on that link
First patch is for your box ..other patch is for TM5402 M2
And its not for you : ))

Do'nt matter this patch is a bit older
the idea is to get the box working again first ,

Which patch do you recommend please?

That all depends on what you want to use the box for ?

I am using patch 0.25p as I like to watch the Discovery channels on 4.8 east & 0.8 west + feeds "do not use for Ethernet tv" I use other equipment for this,

Take Barney's advice on the most reliable patch for this.
