Eutelsat Kabelkiosk launches HD offensive

Eutelsat’s headend-in-the-sky for Germany, Kabelkiosk, is doubling the number of HD channels in its basic TV offer in November.
From November 5, Kabelkiosk will offer 17 HD channels in its basic bouquet including newcomers RTL Nitro HD, n-tv HD, Comedy Central HD, DMAX HD, Nickelodeon HD, Sport1 HD, Tele5 HD and Viva HD.
“With our HD offensive we serve the surge in demand for TV content in brilliant picture quality and secure with a compelling channel selection the competitiveness of our partners,” said Martina Rutenbeck, managing director Eutelsat Deutschland.
“At the same time our HD campaign highlights the outstanding cooperation of Kabelkiosk with programme providers and is an expression of appreciation of our digital services platform.”
