ERR 79 at boot....

Hi,

I'm having trouble with my ipbox 9000.

I started getting these panic messages all the time so I:

1. flashed DGS 5981 (first img)
2. network upate to DGS 105xx
3. usb update to sifteam 111xx

so far everything's good. But I keep getting a strange message consisting of random signs and numers when booting up + I cannot boot on usb stick (it ususally works by holding the power button and the 'up' button until "usb upgrade" appears and does the job).

So I go back to the menu and choose software upgrade via usb and now load uboot.. This is when it crashes.... I now keep getting ERR 79 and can't flash a new img using usb at boot....

What should I do?

i would recomend the orignal file of the series you want to use.
i.e
DGS 111xx
then any 111xx

Historically I have discovered that Err 79 on an IPBOX indicates that your channel database is screwed up. IE you need to ftp another db.dat into /var via whatever image you can get to boot.
