This product seamlessly integrates TV and radio channels, available in Dreambox, into MediaCenter, enabling all standard MediaCenter features for these channels like time-shifting, Guide EPG listings, instant and timer recordings and streaming to extenders.

Latest Enigma2 images do not work with DVBLink!

We have recently discovered a problem with DVBLink when working with the latest firmware release of Enigma2 based dreamboxes - those having secondstageloader 73: PLi Jade 3, Gemini 4.3 etc.
The symptoms of the problem are:
- Very long channel changes
- After changing channel MediaCenter reports "no signal"

We strongly advise to use secondstageloader 72 based images, which do not have this problem: PLi Jade2, Gemini 4.2 etc.

DVBLink for Dreambox 1.1

Version 1.1 of DVBLink for Dreambox is released.

What is new:
- Fixed bug when Guide a la Carte EPG information was not loaded during background EPG scan
- Fixed bug when Guide a la Carte EPG information was not loaded when channel is watched (background EPG scan is disabled)
- New easy-to-use EPG source configuration dialog (replaces old EPG Source and XMLTV source configuration dialogs)
- Dreambox password field is made encrypted in the configuration page and in registry

You need to reinstall both DVBLink for Dreambox and DVBLink server for new version to work properly.

Install DVBLinkServer.msi first, reboot your computer when prompted and install DVBLinkForDB.msi afterwards.

DVBLink For Dreambox v2.0.0004

DVBLink v2 Release Candidate 1 is available!
The fact that it is RC now does not mean that there are no bugs in it It simply means that there will be no big features added before release.

What is new:
- Added RTP support for streaming. This should improve playback performance on unstable/weak networks. It is important to mention here that not all routers and switches support multicast (especially the old ones). Please check the specs of your network hardware if you have no signal using RTP.
- Added option for one of the MediaCenters to be a "default recorder". In practice it means that channel requests from this MediaCenter are guaranteed to succeed by DVBLink Server (even at the cost of other connected clients).
- Fixed the issue where sometimes channels where not found during scan (however DVBViewer does find them).
- Fixed the "No TV Signal" issue for server computer having more than one connected network card
- Fixed Terratec synergy not finding channels in v2.0.0003
- Fixed DVBLink TVServer not working after server has been in standby
- Made DVBLink configuration dialog resizeable

If you are running v1 of any of the enclosed products you have to uninstall them before installing this RC1 version.

If you are running previous beta of DVBLink v2, uninstall DVBLink Server Network Pack from the server computer before update! Do not worry - it will not erase you channel configuration on the server or on the clients. You will simply have to install DVBLink Network Pack again once update of the DVBLink Server and DVBLink products is completed.
Use bat files, enclosed in zip archive for update. This will update your binary files and will keep all your scanned channels and preferences.
Update the DVBLink Server first, followed by update of the installed products and network clients. You will have to enter again server IP address or host name after client update!

If you are installing this version from the scratch you need to install DVBLink Server first (DVBLinkServer.msi), reboot your computer when prompted and proceed with source product installation afterwards.

DVBLink v2 products are released!

We are very proud to announce release of our DVBLink v2 products:

- DVBLink for Dreambox


New version of DVBLink products has a huge list of improvement and new features comparing to the previous version. lmost every aspect of the program is improved - new easy-to-use user interface, improved reliability, compliance to UAC rules, increased number of supported tuner cards, network streaming to other MediaCenter computers to name just a few.

We would like to thank all our alpha and beta testers for their valuable input.

DVBLink for Dreambox v3.0 is released!

- Added background EPG information update for xmltv EPG source
- Added support for additional xmltv details: full description, genre, credits, thumbnail, rating, series information etc.
- Changed DVBLink addin user interface in MediaCenter
- Removed channel synchronization wizard in MCE
- EPG source, name and number of DVBLink channels can be updated after channel synchronization in MediaCenter
- Made DVBLink special streams optional
- Fixed hang-up of DVBLink server when stopping the service
- Added channels numbers to EPG Sources tab of DVBLink Server configuration
- Fixed channels numbers assignment for channes mapped to MCE Guide Services channels
- Fixed several memory overwrites problems, which manifested themselves in DVBLink Server hanging
- Added about box with the overview of installed products and their versions

To preserve your current system settings, run installation using the bat files.
If upgrading from version 2.x or beta1/2/RC1 of DVBLink for Dreambox you will have to delete and synchronize the DVBLink channels again in MediaCenter. 
If you get "Program has stopped responding. You will now return to MediaCenter" message on MCE start up, you must boot to safe mode and delete mcepg*.db file in c:\programdata\microsoft\ehome\. Once booted up in normal mode again simply redo TV Setup.

All existing TVSource users can upgrade free of charge. Their existing registration information will be picked up automatically.

EPG from the stream for DVBLink for Dreambox: beta

Here is the beta version of DVBLink for Dreambox, supporting EPG retrieval from the Dreambox (which in its turn gets it from the stream or its other EPG sources).

Copy attached dll over your existing one and restart DVBLink service. Then launch DVBLink Server configuration, go to Server configuration -> EPG Sources and select your DVBLink for Dreambox source in the combobox at the top-right. Do channel mapping as usual and press Ok. Then Open MediaCenter. Providing that Dreambox has EPG data available it will also appear in the MediaCenter guide

DVBLink for Dreambox v3.2

What's new and fixed at version 3.2:

General
- Added: Czech, Chineese and Polish languages
- Added: EPG program information overwrite on each update. This means that previously incomplete EPG data will be overwritten with a newer one when it becoms available.
- Added: Channel numbers are taken from xmltv (channel IDs) during EPG channel mapping
- Fixed: DVBLink Server (sometimes) hangs up during service shutdown
- Fixed: DVBLink Server (sometimes) crashes during service shutdown
- Fixed: DVBLink Server (sometimes) crashes when closing server configuration utility (after switching tabs and configuring source(s))
- Added: adding epg data into the gaps (e.g. no data available gaps in already inserted epg data)
- Added: channels.xml template for xmltv epg source where time offset can be adjusted per channel. Also HDTV channel flag can be set there. File has to be added manually via editor - no user interface is available (yet).

- New installation: run msi installation files. Install DVBLink server first, followed by the DVBLink source product installation and (eventually) Network Pack installation.
- Upgrade: run enclosed bat files. Upgrade DVBLink Server first, then DVBLink source products and then (eventually) Network Pack and Network Client(s). This will preserve all your channels and settings. You will need to re-enter server IP address after upgrading client.

The versions of all binary files (exe and dll) should be 3.2.1.0.
