DM800se sim 2.1 - FTA Channels not Clearing

Hi

I have switched my dm800 on and off and got "no ca or image 2nd failed". I have had this before and fixed via a flash and install of a backup image. However this time the backup image has not worked.

I install bootloader fine and then new image fine, then in service searching I can see full reception (locked) but when on the channel it does not clear. Also, when I try and scan new channels it doesnt scan.

Can anyone advise what I should do, is there a driver for the tuner I should be installing? or if there is a good backup for 28.2e. I do not think it is an issue with the tuner as I get full bars just not clearing.

I have been trying to fix this flat out for 3 days :mecry: and have tried to flash many different images. Thanks to anyone who can help!

If you have flashed a sim2 image which you must have then the driver is included.

Take the lid off and make sure the tuner is pushed fully home.

Are you just looking at 28E ? If so how do you have the tuner configured ?

I have tried configuring fixed to 28.2 and split port A and B to 28.2 nothing works. I have a fixed dish. I did open the lid and all looked fine. This has only happend when I have switched the box completely on and off.

If you have a fixed dish with no diseqc switch you setup like this

I have tried that Ferret. I get full signal (on satfinder) but the channel doesn't clear or scan. When scanning the small display screen says no service.

I feel like it could be an issue with drivers. Is there an old image/bootloader I should use do you reckon?

I dont think an image will help.

Have you tried installing a channel list say catseyes ?

If not try it.

Thanks.. I will check this over the weekend. In the meantime I have brought a Vu Zero as a replacement to make sure there is little downtime
